For our 2010 Block of The Month Project we chose Women of Influence by Sarah Maxwell & Dolores Smith. We will start March 1st. The first month will be $25.00, months 2-12 will be $14.95. It is a large quilt & this fee includes the pattern, all the blocks & borders. Space is limited so sign up today. We will have a couple of mini classes, times will be announced.
About the project:
“Women of Influence” celebrates women’s suffrage. In 2010, America will celebrate the 90th anniversary of women securing the right to vote. The women who convened the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848 could not have imagined that it would take more than 70 years to attain this fundamental right. Many women fought for equality and voting rights throughout these years. This project will highlight 12 of those women who influenced the history of women’s rights, a different woman each month.
